Buying Liquid Assets Coffees/Espressos thru TVCOG

Instructions:

  1. Read descriptions here, or in the booklet hanging on the refrigerator.
  2. Fill out the Google order form here. Forms received by Mondays at midnight will be fulfilled the same week.
  3. Make payment in person at TVCOG, in the Coffee Orders box: by check (written to Liquid Assets) or cash (honor system, and the risk is yours). Alternatively, pay via PayPal (instructions on the Google order form) (Paper orders may also be placed in the box with payment.)
  4.  Pick up your coffee on or after Thursday from the TVCOG kitchen. Initial that you’ve picked up. Be honorable about this.
  5. A commercial grade grinder is available for your convenience. Please neaten it up after use.
  6. Make this offer available to friends, colleagues, and family, please.

 

Liquid Assets Coffee Blends, Offerings for Tech Valley Center of Gravity

Center of Gravity Blend — 33% discount, plus 10% contribution to TVCOGUniquely blended and roasted for the Tech Valley Center of Gravity community. A wonderful rich full body coffee,with lingering notes of rich dark smooth dark chocolate and thick, lasting mouth feel. Heavy flavors that last through the day.

Liquid Assets House Regular: One of our popular house coffees inspired from the rich history of the Crooked Lake Hotel. It is a combination of Central and South American coffees. Roasted Full City, Viennese and French, this is a very full bodied coffee with a smooth, lingering finish. A great coffee for morning or after dinner.

Fred Head: A blend of all Central American coffees roasted Full City, Viennese, and French. Medium to dark coffee with wonderful nuttiness, strong coffee flavor and a hint of smoky caramel. Long in flavor with a lingering aftertaste and smooth finish. Fred Head is a rich coffee with very smooth overtones.

Midnight Mocha: A rich and medium coffee from Central and South America. The coffees are roasted Full City, Viennese, and French. It is the French roast that gives the coffee its rich dark flavor balanced by the fullness of the Full City and Viennese. Lingering flavor with a nice hint of chocolate and caramel.

African Noir: This is a blend for those who prefer a full-bodied, dark coffee with lingering, long complex flavors. We combine several African coffees roasted equally between Full City and French then blend in equal proportions. The French roasted African coffee in this blend suggests flavors reminiscent of Burgundy wines with a full mouth feel. Satisfying from beginning to end, this heavy-bodied coffee is for those who prefer depth and full flavor.

Rooster Blues: A coffee inspired by the rich history of the Blues. A combination of African and Indonesian coffees roasted Full City, Viennese and French giving this coffee a long lingering taste and a deep base flavor. A medium to dark coffee that has very smooth notes. An old favorite of ours and now yours.

Indo Unique: A milder version of Center of Gravity Blend. Indo Unique is a complex blend of Indonesian coffees that balances several roasting styles, producing a mild, rich flavor, a full mouth feel and lingering aftertaste. This blend has an earthy, slightly crisp flavor complemented by the syrupy, caramel-like flavor of the dark roast.

Sumatra Mandheling Viennese Espresso: Mandhelings are considered to be among the best of the Sumatra Coffees. The cup is heavy, the mouth feel and body are full, and the flavor is sweet and feels thick on the tongue. There is a smooth, lingering aftertaste. Viennese is the lightest espresso roast for Sumatra Mandheling giving the bean a dark chestnut color. A slight coating of oil is extracted with high temperatures during roasting. This intensifies and slightly sweetens the flavor of the coffee. This coffee is a favorite prepared as iced coffee.

Sumatra Mandheling French Espresso: Mandhelings are considered to be among the best of the Sumatra Coffees. The cup is heavy, the mouth feel and body are full, and the flavor is sweet and feels thick on the tongue. There is a smooth, lingering aftertaste. This dark espresso roast results in the bean having a deep brown/burgundy color. It is fully caramelized in the roasting process giving the bean a wonderful coating of oil. This coffee is rich in taste with a very smooth finish.

Sumatra Mandheling Italian Espresso: Mandhelings are considered to be among the best of the Sumatra Coffees. The cup is heavy, the mouth feel and body are full, and the flavor is sweet and feels thick on the tongue. There is a smooth, lingering aftertaste. Italian is a darker espresso roast than French, and the darkest espresso offering for Sumatra coffee. The beans have a dark reddish black color. This coffee has a wonderful hint of smokiness and caramel, with a very smooth finish.

Kenya AA Viennese Espresso: AA is Kenya’s designation for its top grade coffee. Deep Burgundy wine flavors, full body and mouth feel, medium cup and crisp finish characterize this coffee. Viennese is the lightest espresso roast for Kenya AA giving the bean a dark chestnut color. A slight coating of oil is extracted with high temperatures during roasting. This intensifies and slightly sweetens the flavor of the coffee.

Kenya AA French Espresso: AA is Kenya’s designation for its top grade coffee. Deep Burgundy wine flavors, full body and mouth feel, medium cup and crisp finish characterize this coffee. This dark espresso roast results in the bean having a deep brown/burgundy color. It is fully caramelized in the roasting process giving the bean a wonderful coating of oil. This coffee is rich in taste with a very smooth finish.

Kenya AA Turkish Espresso: AA is Kenya’s designation for its top grade coffee. Deep Burgundy wine flavors, full body and mouth feel, and medium cup and crisp finish characterize this coffee. Turkish is our darkest espresso roast inspired by a line Fred once read that stated “coffee should be as dark as the darkest night.” This coffee is extremely unique. Kenya coffee is the only coffee that can be roasted this dark at such high temperatures. A stunningly smooth and very dark coffee with hints of smokiness, and a dry, crisp finish.

Colombian Supremo Viennese Espresso: Our Colombian Supremo has medium to heavy body. Heavier in weight than most American coffees, this Colombian bean has a more potent mouth feel and covers more of the tongue. Rich in taste and smooth in texture, this coffee also possesses a full aftertaste carrying hints of woodiness in its flavor. Viennese is the lightest espresso roast for Colombian Supremo giving the bean a dark chestnut color. A slight coating of oil is extracted with high temperatures during roasting. This intensifies and slightly sweetens the flavor of the coffee.

Colombian Supremo French Espresso: Our Colombian Supremo has medium to heavy body. Heavier in weight than most American coffees, this Colombian bean has a more potent mouth feel and covers more of the tongue. Zombie Apocalypse Espresso: Wake the Dead! Our first and only espresso blend offering to date. This espresso was inspired by our friends wanting to know if we could create a more intense espresso than Kenya Turkish. After months of trying we finally hit the mark with an espresso that has a very rich and dark flavor and a wonderful smooth, lingering finish. This espresso blend is slightly smoky with hints of dark unsweetened chocolate. The flavor is heavy, but as with all of our coffees there is no bitterness. Label artwork by Byron Rempel.
