##### **Dan Falkenstrom⏎ Operations Director

Dan started with the COG as a member and volunteer in 2013, and now leads their
small staff in managing daily operations. In addition to developing the local maker
community, he conducts numerous classes on equipment safety and digital fabrication
for individuals, startups, and small manufacturers. Always fascinated by taking
things apart, learning how they work, and fixing them, he received a bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from RPI, and subsequently spent
several years in manufacturing engineering roles at Pratt & Whitney, Knolls Atomic
Power Lab, and General Electric.
