# Welcome to TVCOG! Getting a membership is the first step towards joining our creative community.

**For new members:** Signing up for a membership automatically creates a recurring
charge, which can be cancelled any time.  Once you have created your membership 
account, please visit the [Getting Started](https://www.tvcog.net/membership/getting-started)
page to start using your membership.

**For current members: **If you would like to upgrade your account (e.g switch from
Associate to Maker) please contact TVCOG staff. **Upgrades can not be done via the
website.**

**For family or group accounts: **Please contact TVCOG staff to add people to your
account. 

**Paying by ACH is more secure for you & cheaper for us. **However, it may take 
2-3 days for your payment to process. _After_ the payment clears, you will receive
