The class will touch on a broad range of support ing topics but will focus primarily on assembly of discrete components to a through-hole circuit boa rd. This is a hands-on course in which you will so lder\, desolder and splice using multiple techniqu es. You'll learn for yourself when (and more impor tantly why) to choose a particular method\, tool\, or material\, and how to do the work safely. You' ll leave with a small electronic device you've ass embled yourself\, and the know-how needed to creat e good electrical connections for your own project s.
