Are you interested in learning the basics of CAD and implementing Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) techniques for your next project? This short course will take you through the building blocks within Autodesk Fusion360 and Prusa Slicer to help you design parts from scratch and bring them into the world with 3D Printers. There will be an emphasis on Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) applications including considerations for reliable slicing techniques, but these tools can be applied to several manufacturing processes. No previous experience necessary.
Computers are not provided; please bring your own laptop and install Fusion 360 and Prusa Slicer before you come (they’re both free to start). We recommend attendees show up 30 minutes early if they need assistance in creating an account and installing the software. Open to ages 18+, or 16+ with a parent/guardian chaperone.
