 This 2hr class will cover basics of laser cutting. Perfect for beginners. Ages 
14+ This is a one-on-one class with Steve Scotten, long time instructor and volunteer
coordinator at TVCOG. After purchase, you will coordinate a time with the instructor
via email to complete the class. The instructor is typically available weekdays 
and weekend afternoons.

This class is geared towards beginning laser cutter makers or those looking for 
a refresher. Participants will learn safe laser cutter operation and the basics 
of designing for the laser cutter and go home with a battery-powered illuminated
acrylic sign of their own design. Students are encouraged to bring simple art they
would like to engrave/cut, but sample shapes and signs will be provided. 

 

Cost: $75 TVCOG Members | $90 Non-Members

 

Your Instructor: Steve Scotten is a long time instructor and volunteer coordinator
at TVCOG. With his years of experience, he provides thoughtful and informative instruction
for any knowledge level.

 

Scheduling: This is a custom-scheduled, one-on-one class with an experienced instructor.
It will take 2 hours to complete. After purchase, you will receive contact info 
for the instructor. Let the instructor know your availability, and coordinate a 
time to complete the class. The instructor is typically available weekdays and weekend
afternoons.   

 

No previous experience necessary. All materials included. Participants must be 14
+. Discounts will automatically be applied to current COG members during the registration
process.
