Ages 18+. This is a one-on-one class with Alexander Titcomb, TVCOG's Operations Technician. After purchase, you will coordinate a time with the instructor via email to complete the class. Cutting metal may seem like a daunting task. The milling machine makes the task easy by accurately cutting and shaping metal. This 2-hour class will introduce participants to the capabilities of the milling machine, and will provide a demonstration of proper machine use on a small project. The demonstration will include setting up and locating fixtures, drilling, milling, fly cutting and boring. His background is in precision metalworking, as a journeyman maintenance machinist with over 10 years of workshop experience.  **Scheduling:** This is a custom-scheduled, one-on-one class with experienced instructors.
