Prototyping Center Equipment Training: Stratasys F270 3D Printer & Formlabs 3B 3D Printer

Required training sessions the Stratasys F270 3D Printer & Formlabs 3B 3D Printers available in the Prototyping Center. These high-end 3D printers have specialized applications that set them apart from the 3D printers you see in homes or libraries:

• The Formlabs 3B printer is a professional-grade SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printer, which is compatible with biocompatible and medical applications
• Stratasys F270 is a high-end, industrial-grade FDM 3D printer designed for professional use, offering superior precision, material options, reliability, and advanced features compared to standard home model 3D printers.

Use of these machines is ideal for makers looking to create high quality, professional prints.

Training for the Stratasys covers: GrabCAD software signup and operation, loading/unloading filaments, changing print heads, basic troubleshooting, part cleaner operation. Training for the Formlabs printer covers: PreForm use, loading/unloading resin, printer operation, basic troubleshooting, cleaning & curing parts.

Class Fees: $80 CoG Members | $90 Non-Members 

Prior experience with 3D printers required.

Registration closes 3 days prior to the class. After this date, a $10 late registration fee will be applied. To keep our classes affordable, we depend on advanced registration. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.

Cancellations: Cancellation requests must be made one week before the class date in order to be eligible for a refund, unless due to illness. 

Class Discounts & Financial Aid: Member discounts will be automatically be applied if you are logged into the website, and have a valid membership. TVCOG also offers full and partial discounts for individuals with demonstrated financial need. Please fill out a request form here. Requests should be submitted at least 5 days prior to the class date.
