Laser Cutter 104: Make A Lantern

Learn how to use our makerspace laser cutter to create 3-D objects and take home a four-sided lantern of your own design! 

This class will cover the fundamentals of basic laser cutter safety and operation, and delve a bit deeper into the intricacies of laser cutter design. Participants will learn to use free online resources and basic laser cutting techniques to create complex, 3-Dimensional objects. All materials are included in the class fee. 

Experience level: This class is geared towards beginning laser cutter makers or those looking for a refresher. This class qualifies as the Laser Cutter Safety Orientation required for CoG members. 

Registration Fee: $60 COG Members | $70 Non-Members

Discounts will be automatically applied to current members during the registration process.

To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Please register by January 23. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be canceled. Registrations made after advanced enrollment has ended will be subject to a 20% late registration fee.
Cancellations must be made a week before the class in order to be eligible for a refund.
