An introduction to 3D printer maintenance.

Image of 3D PrintersThis class will walk through set up, care and maintenance of FDM 3D-printers, the basics of printing, and how to spot and fix common errors. It is perfect for librarians, teachers, small businesses, and casual hobbyists with 3D printers available to use, and are not quite sure where to start, or how to troubleshoot and maintain them.

Topics covered will include:

  • What is 3D Printing?
  • How to Use a 3D Printer
  • Anatomy of an FDM Printer
  • Calibrating a 3D Printer
  • Calibrating a Slicer
  • Common Issues and Maintenance

Class Fee: $40 for COG Members | $60 for Non-Members

To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be canceled. Advanced registration closes 3 business days before the class date; after this date, a $10 late registration fee will be applied.

Cancellations must be made one week prior to the class in order to be eligible for a refund.

Discounts will be automatically applied to current COG members.
