**Program Requirements: **

This is an intensive, education-focused residency designed to empower local, underserved
artists looking to incorporate digital fabrication tools into their artistic practice.

**Residents will be expected to fulfill the following duties during their residency
term:**

 * Be an active member of the TVCOG and Collar Works communities, and follow all
   set guidelines and contract terms.
 * Complete the core element requirements of the Residency program, including attending
the Digital Fabrication intensive class series and completing their signature
project for Victorian Stroll. See below.

##### **Residency Core Elements**

 * This program requires around approximately 4-6 hours of work per week, some of
which needs to be completed independently:
    - During the LEARN! portion (August – October), Residents will complete class
series and learning deliverables. See class listing below for dates and times.
       * Learning deliverables: Residents must provide one 3D printed object of
original design and one original laser-cut vector design during this time
period. Deliverables should be completed using TVCOG tools and scrap materials.
       * Artists will also be given recommendations for other learning sources and
will have access to all other TVCOG equipment, safety orientations, clubs
and zone office hours for independent work. These are benefits of the residency
         and not required.
    - During the CREATE! portion (November), we expect a project complex enough
to require approximately 4- 6 hours a week of planning and on-site fabrication.
    - To complete the SHARE! portion, artists will be expected to do the following:
       * Participate in Victorian Stroll at TVCOG on December 7 (an all day event,
         exact times TBD)
       * Share regular photos, videos and text updates to TVCOG ; work with TVCOG
staff to create an end-of-residency summary video
