This project-based workshop will introduce aspiring young makers(ages 8 and up) to the basics of 3D printing. This activity builds introductory skills in modelling, customization, and use of a simple 3D printer to print your own personalized creation. Participants will learn how to use the popular free online 3D design software, TinkerCAD, as well as how to use the 3D printers available here at TVCOG. Students will create a 3D printed keychain that can be taken home at the end of the class.

No previous experience necessary. All materials included. Parents not required to stay in building for class.

To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be cancelled. Advanced registration closes September 12 at 8pm. Reservations made after this date will be subject to a $10 late registration fee. 

Cancellations must be made one week before the class date in order to be eligible for a refund.
