Electronics 300: Intermediate Electronics- Build Your Own Arduino
Explore the power and possibilities of microcontrollers.
The Arduino is a small single function computer that can be used to power robots, automated devices, LED light sets, drones, GPS devices, and lots more. Microcontrollers like the Arduino are an essential part of prototyping and hobbyist projects. This three-hour class is the first step in using the Arduino and will teach students how to solder its parts onto the circuit board. Students should come to class with basic soldering knowledge. The registration fee for this course includes all materials. Participants will leave the course with an Arduino Educato to keep for future projects. Prerequisite: Electronics 101 or approval from the instructor. Ages 18 and up. All materials included in the class registration fee. Registration Fee: $100 COG Members | $120 Non-Members To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be canceled. Advanced registration closes 3 days before the class date.
