Glass Arts 104: Glass Etching and Engraving

Glass can be decorated in many ways.  In this class, participants will explore the techniques of engraving and etching.  Engraving is using a rotary tool to carve out shapes on the surface of the glass. Etching uses a chemical cream to erode unmasked areas of a glass. Participants will leave the class with an engraved/etched piece of glassware of their own design. All materials and glassware will be provided. 

No previous experience necessary. Participants must be 18 or older.

Registration fee: $50 Members| $60 Non-Members

To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be canceled. Advanced registration closes 1 day before the class date; after this date, a $10 late registration fee will be applied.

Cancellations must be made one week prior to the class in order to be eligible for a refund.

Discounts will be automatically applied to current COG members.
