STEAM CLASSES & FIELD TRIPS

We offer a variety of hands-on learning experiences which allow children of all ages to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (STEAM). By collaborating with schools, homeschool groups and other youth enrichment programs, we are able to tailor each event or program to meet the needs of your students. Youth programs for grades K-8 are hosted in the THINQubator, our dedicated children’s makerspace area, while programs for grades 9-12 utilize the first floor Maker Zones and classroom space.

One-Time Field Trips

Bring your students in for a one-time field trip at our facility or have us do a pop-up at your location! Popular topics include “Doodle Bots,” a basic circuitry activity perfect for elementary school students; the “Vibe Cube,” a woodworking/3D printing project for middle schoolers; and “Retro Video Games with Arduino,” a high school level electronics class.

Multi-Session Programs

Work with us to design a series of workshops to meet specific needs for your students, which can be offered as after school clubs, in-school workshops etc. Past workshops include an after-school FIRST LEGO League clubs for middle school students, and 4-part in-school sessions for elementary students, with a different hr-long activity each week.

Educational Memberships

Get access to the space for your students and educators, who can use the first floor of our facility as if it were an extension of their own classroom. Ideal for high school groups who want to incorporate hands-on activities using laser cutting, 3D printing, electronics, fiber arts and more into their curriculum. Available monthly or annually.
