This class is geared towards beginning laser cutter makers or those looking for a refresher. Participants will learn safe laser cutter operation and the basics of designing for the laser cutter and go home with a battery-powered illuminated acrylic sign of their own design. Students are encouraged to bring simple art they would like to engrave/cut, but sample shapes and signs will be provided.

Your Instructor: Steve Scotten is a long time instructor and volunteer coordinator at TVCOG. With his years of experience, he provides thoughtful and informative instruction for any knowledge level.

Scheduling: This is a custom-scheduled, one-on-one class with an experienced instructor. It will take 2 hours to complete. After purchase, you will receive contact info for the instructor. Let the instructor know your availability, and coordinate a time to complete the class. The instructor is typically available weekdays and weekend afternoons.   

No previous experience necessary. All materials included. Participants must be 14+. Discounts will automatically be applied to current COG members during the registration process.
