Discover the art of fusing glass in this introductory class! This class will walk students through the steps of creating fused glass pieces, including glass selection, glass cutting and kiln use. During the class, students will have the opportunity to create up to three fused glass pieces of their own design. Designs can be embellished with glass frit and/or glass stringer. The glass needs to be fused in the kiln and cool down overnight. Projects can be picked up anytime from 11am-8:30pm the following Tuesday. Alternate pickup times can be arranged if necessary. No previous experience necessary.

The registration fee includes all materials. For TVCoG members, this course also qualifies as the required Glass Arts Safety Orientation. Participants must be 16 or older.

Class Fee: $75 CoG Members | $90 Non-Members  

Registration & Cancellation policies: These group classes require sufficient enrollment to proceed at the listed price. Advanced registration closes 1 week before the class date; late registrations incur a $10 fee. Cancellations must be made at least 1 week prior in order to qualify for a refund, unless due to illness.
