In the Spotlight
New Reciprocal Makerspace Membership Discount

Tech Valley Center of Gravity, Electric City Barn, Saratoga Joinery, The Innovation Center at Saratoga, and Launchbox Flexible Warehouses have come together to create a Reciprocal Makerspace Membership Discount. Beginning in April, members of these organizations will receive a 20% reciprocal discount on membership dues, with Launchbox offering the special first-month-free promotion for Warehouse Suite and Private Office memberships.

Operations Director Dan Falkenstrom started the conversation between the organizations, looking to strengthen the local innovation ecosystem. He says, “The Capital Region has a fantastic network of resources for creatives and entrepreneurs. We’re all makerspaces that focus on specific needs, but none of us are a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead of wasting time and money creating redundant facilities, we saw this as a cost-effective way to expand that support network, and enhance organizational collaboration.”

We hope this offer encourages individuals to participate in multiple creative and entrepreneurial communities, developing new skills and connections. To take advantage of the discount, email [email protected].
