Craft 107: Pewter Casting
- Date
- 04.23.2023 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Description
Discover the art of pewter casting! Due to its low melting point, pewter is an alloy that can be poured directly into molds, allowing for the creation of unique, detailed metal pieces. The possibilities of what to make with pewter are endless, from jewelry to spoons to small sculptures. During this class, participants will learn the basics of casting and mold making, including making a mold themselves with a design of their choice. Then participants will get a chance to cast their piece in their mold, and take it home along with their newfound casting skills!
