Zone Office Hours allow members to connect with the Zone Coordinator to get help with anything related to the zone. Bring your questions, ask for advice on your project, or get help with a tool you're having trouble using.  

Membership required. Day Pass required for Associate Members. Registration required (if nobody is registered, the office hours will not be held). Registration closes two days beforehand.

Makers Market at Tech Valley Center of Gravity

Tech Valley Center of Gravity is thrilled to participate in the 41st annual Troy Victorian Stroll on Sunday, December 3rd from 11am-5pm.

During this year’s Stroll, we will have a variety of festivities:

  • We will be hosting a Maker's Market on the first floor, featuring locally owned small businesses that create handmade goods.
    • Longtime downtown Troy business Spillin' the Beans Coffeehouse will be doing a pop-up cafe during the market, selling their hot coffee and espresso drinks!
  • There will be a STEAM-Powered Pop-Up activity (DIY Kaleidoscopes!) in the THINQubator for children ages 4-12 and their families. $5 suggested donation.
  • The entire space, including our downstairs shops, will be open for self-guided tours! TVCOG Members will be in various shops to answer questions, do demonstrations, or lead short activities. In addition, we have a collection of featured member projects that have been placed around the space.
    • Don't forget to check outside on 3rd St for our largest featured member project- a retrofitted bus! The bus will be open for tours during the Stroll!

STEAM Powered Pop-Up: DIY Kaleidoscopes

  • Children ages 4-12 and their families are invited to join us at Tech Valley Center of Gravity for a fun, creative hands-on project. These mind-expanding projects help children discover creative play through science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. During this special pop-up event, we will be making kaleidoscopes! Learn more here.
  • This program is a special, pop-up version of our regular STEAM-Powered Saturday programs! This free program is hosted on the first Saturday of every month from 10am-1pm, and offers a different STEAM project each time. Learn more at www.tvcog.net/SPS
