THINQ 110: Intro to Jewelry Soldering for Kids

This class will teach the students the basics of safe, effective jewelry soldering. Students will create two rings to take home at the end of the class! 
Students will learn how to use jeweler's torches, silver solder, and a jeweler’s saw to create 2-3 silver rings! 
Safety notice: Please be aware, this is a hands-on class with use of open flame.

No previous experience necessary. All materials included in the registration fee. Open to ages 12+ without a parent; children ages 6-12 are welcome if joined by a parent/guardian for the entire duration of the class. 

Class Fee: $80 CoG Members | $90 Non-Members 

To keep our classes affordable, we book our instructors and purchase materials in advance. We depend on advanced registration. Classes without sufficient advanced enrollment may be canceled. Advanced registration closes 3 business days before the class date; after this date, a $10 late registration fee will be applied. Discounts will be automatically applied to current COG members. 

Cancellations must be made one week before the class date in order to be eligible for a refund, unless due to illness. 

Class Discounts & Financial Aid: Discounts should automatically be applied for TVCOG members who are signed in to their TVCOG account, and have a current membership. If a discount is not automatically applied, please email info@tvcog.net. TVCOG offers full and partial discounts on classes for individuals with demonstrated financial need. Please fill out a request form here. Requests should be submitted at least 5 days prior to the class date.

Please note, if you are showing signs of flu or COVID related symptoms and cannot attend your class, you have the option to request a full refund up to 1 week before your class begins. After this point, students experiencing symptoms may request a full class credit up to the morning of the class.
