Discover the art of fusing glass in this introductory class! This class will walk students through the steps of creating fused glass pieces, including glass selection, glass cutting and kiln use. During the class, students will have the opportunity to create a set of two fused glass coasters of their own design. Designs can be made with transparent and opaque glass, and embellished with glass frit, glass stringer, and/or copper foil.

The glass needs to be fused in the kiln and cool down overnight. Projects can be picked up anytime from 11am-8:30pm on Tuesday, April 23rd. Alternate pickup times can be arranged if necessary.

No previous experience necessary. The registration fee includes all materials. For TVCoG members, this course also qualifies as the required Glass Arts Safety Orientation. Participants must be 16 or older.
